(1) Bench Milling Machine: A small milling machine used for milling small parts such as instruments and meters.

(2) Cantilever Milling Machine: A milling machine where the milling head is mounted on a cantilever. The bed is horizontally arranged, and the cantilever can usually move vertically along the guide rail on one side of the bed. The milling head moves along the cantilever guide rail.

(3) Ram Milling Machine: A milling machine where the spindle is mounted on a ram. The bed is horizontally arranged, and the ram can move laterally along the saddle guide rail. The saddle can move vertically along the column guide rail.

(4) Gantry Milling Machine: A milling machine with a horizontally arranged bed, and the columns and connecting beams on both sides form a gantry. The milling head is mounted on the crossbeam and column and can move along their guide rails. Usually, the crossbeam can move vertically along the column guide rail, and the worktable can move longitudinally along the bed guide rail. Used for machining large parts. (5) Plane Milling Machine: A milling machine used for milling planes and shaped surfaces. The bed is horizontally arranged, and the worktable usually moves longitudinally along the bed guide rails, while the spindle can move axially. It has a simple structure and high production efficiency.

(6) Copy Milling Machine: A milling machine used for copying workpieces. Generally used for machining complex-shaped workpieces.

(7) Lift Table Milling Machine: A milling machine with a lifting table that can move vertically along the bed guide rails. The worktable and slide mounted on the lifting table can usually move longitudinally and laterally, respectively.

(8) Radial Milling Machine: A milling machine with a radial arm mounted on top of the bed and a milling head mounted at one end of the radial arm. The radial arm can rotate and move in the horizontal plane, and the milling head can rotate at a certain angle on the end face of the radial arm.

(9) Bed-Type Milling Machine: A milling machine where the worktable cannot be raised or lowered but can move longitudinally along the bed guide rails, and the milling head or column can move vertically.

(10) Special-Purpose Milling Machine: For example, a tool milling machine: A milling machine used for milling tools and molds, with high machining accuracy and capable of machining complex shapes.
